We are excited about our new service, La Viña Comunidad Cristiana. The idea here is to not have simply a “service in Spanish” or even to launch an independent Hispanic church. We believe the body of Christ should be ethnically diverse, so our goal is to have Hispanic, black, white, Asian, Arab … “all” in one church body. We believe this better reflects the Gospel/Kingdom, as well as better fulfills God’s plan for the church.
That said, we have a number of people in our community who just don’t speak English. So Gate City Vineyard Elder, George Ling (fluent Spanish speaker) and his wife, Tricia is being commissioned to pastor our new Spanish speaking congregation/service.
Please know that this is an exciting ministry happening at Gate City Vineyard Church. Pray for George and Tricia, and the Spanish speaking members of our community as they fulfill Gate City’s call to bring Heaven to Earth ….
I looked again. I saw a huge crowd, too huge to count. Everyone was there—all nations and tribes, all races and languages. And they were standing, dressed in white robes and waving palm branches, standing before the Throne and the Lamb and heartily singing. – Revelation 7:9-12
Sundays at 2pm.
