Children's Ministries

In our GCVKids Children’s Ministry, we believe Jesus can and does touch kids at every age. Throughout GCVKids we use age-appropriate learning techniques to teach kids that God loves them and cares for them. At Gate City Vineyard, we believe we are to do the things that Jesus did, and kids are no exception!
We offer programs for kids on Sunday mornings – kids enjoy Bible stories, worship, crafts, and games that all point to the love that Jesus has for them. God has created each of us uniquely and we strive to keep that in mind as we prepare for the kids. We want to reach them in whatever ways speak best to them. For some kids, it will be the excitement of the games; for others, it will be during small group discussion.
When you visit VKids for the first time, please stop by our Guest Check-In Counter. There you’ll be given a parent pass as well as your child’s name tag. If you decide that the Vineyard will be your church home, there is a simple form to fill out that allows us to enter your child’s information into our check-in system. This is a secure check in system that also allows teachers to be aware of any needs or allergies your child has. Because we want your experience as well as your child’s to be safe and secure, all of our VKids volunteers have submitted to background checks.

SAFETY

Children and parents receive matching printed nametags and pick-up tags at our Check-in Table, to ensure their safety in our environments.
The child’s nametag identifies their age group, any allergies, and a security code that matches the parent pick-up tag. At the end of the service, each parent picking up a child must provide the pick-up tag to the door host.
